Rice Paper Duo
We are an Asian-Canadian artist duo who explores the materiality of rice paper and the relational connection we have to it as an ingredient for our respective identities.
Together, we challenge the way in which people perceive each other, particularly how people perceive marginalized and racialized folks.
Through collaboration and community focused installations we invite viewers to confront their assumptions, and ultimately the dominant narratives and ideologies that uphold harmful attitudes towards non-white individuals.
