One Day at The Microwave is an interactive installation that puts the viewers in the position of their food. This piece places you in an absurd space that you’ve probably never thought you’d want to be in. Viewers have the ability to set their own time on the microwave for how long they would like to be heated up for. Sitting and spinning around in the small light up box invites us to take a break from the day, as well as enjoy the amusing space that this appliance provides.
